Rivertown Windows manufactures historically accurate double-hung and casement windows, including arched, round-top, and curved-glass windows.

We are probably best known for creating replica windows for projects where historical accuracy is paramount. These types of historically accurate windows, which utilize period-correct materials and details, are often required for projects utilizing state and federal historic tax credit funding. They are often required by governmental agencies when building or remodeling structures in historic districts.

Our staff frequently interacts with building owners, tax credit consultants, and window dealers to make sure that the correct windows are supplied for these types of projects. 

If the existing window frames are in good condition, we can also produce replacement sashes that allow the window frames to be re-used. If the sash is in good condition, we can replace the old inefficient single-pane glass with energy-efficient insulated glass. All windows are supplied with the period-correct brickmoulding. We also have the capability to produce custom interior and exterior mouldings.
